Windows Computers
- Check if playback sound is being output. In the Playback tab of Windows Sound settings, perform a test playback and check if you can hear the sound.
- Check if microphone sound, etc., is being input. In the Recording tab of Windows Sound settings, check if the level meter to the right of the device responds.
This level meter is not very sensitive, so try setting the input gain to maximum.
How to display Windows Sound settings
- Open the Control Panel.
Press the Windows key, type 'Control Panel', and press Enter. - Open Windows Sound settings. Double-click 'Hardware and Sound' → 'Sound'.
Mac Computers
- Check if playback sound is being output.
In the 'Output' tab of Sound settings, select your device and check if you can hear the sound from Music or YouTube. - Check if microphone sound, etc., is being input.
In the 'Input' tab of Sound settings, select your device and check if the 'Input Level' meter responds.
This level meter is not very sensitive, so try setting the input gain to maximum.
iOS/iPadOS Devices
- Check if the device is recognized.
Tap the Control Center AirPlay icon and check if the connected device name is checked. - Check if playback sound is being output.
Check if you can hear the sound from Music or YouTube. - Check if microphone sound, etc., is being input.
Record using Voice Memos and confirm that the meter responds when you input sound. - Check if playback sound is being output.
Play back the sound recorded in '2' using Voice Memos and check if you can hear it.
