Product: DR-10L Pro
The 'Format Error' message appears in the following situations:
- An unformatted card is inserted
- The card was formatted using a computer
- The card was previously used in another device
In all cases, please format the card using the DR-10L Pro itself.
When this message is displayed, pressing the PLAY/PAUSE [ENTER] (referred to as ENTER) button will initiate formatting.
Steps
'Format Error' displayed → Press ENTER → 'Format Card?' → Press ENTER → 'Are You Sure?' → Press ENTER
If formatting with the DR-10L Pro is not possible, try formatting it on a PC first and then try again.
Note: "Format Error" may also appear if the microSD card is damaged or not properly formatted. If formatting with the DR-10L Pro does not resolve the issue, please try using a different tested microSD card (PDF link).
